Watercolour Art

My studio is at home, but with views over the back gardens and daily walks around local parks and greens, I constantly get inspired by nature and landscape. Having small children helps to pause and explore even the smallest leaves, flowers, twigs and insects, and admire their beauty and complex forms! The surrounding nature and my love of vintage botanical illustrations inspire me daily on my creative path as a watercolour artist. I paint in both semi-realistic and loose, expressionist styles.
